What we store

Your email address, and what you do in the app: which variations you have studied, how your reviews are scheduled, and your puzzle results. That is what makes the product work — without it there is no progress to come back to.

Your games

If you connect a Lichess or Chess.com username, we read your public game history through their public APIs and keep only what the analysis produced: the positions where you left your repertoire or missed a punishment. We do not store your games. Disconnect the account and those findings go with it.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data, and we do not run advertising trackers.

Deleting everything

Ask at hello@chessbegins.com and the account and everything attached to it is removed.

Processors

Supabase (database and authentication) and Vercel (hosting). Both process data on our instructions only.
